Some small benefits of homeschooling

Today was the kids' last day of class at Huckleberry. They're sad they won't see their friends as much, but I reminded them that we're that much closer to beach days, yeah! I have to say, on the days that I'm not teatoring near a break down I realize how blessed I am to be able to homeschool my kids. We can do what we want when we want, if we want to linger on a subject we linger, if it's boring for them we can go quicker. If we want to play hookie, we play hookie and stay in our jammies and watch movies or whatever. We can go on field trips wherever we want to go and stay as long or short as we want to. Ok, I'm done babbling but there's more to come because this is only the tip of the iceburg when it comes to homeschooling benefits. Above is a picture of Drew at a really cool hands-on pet store and our sugar cube pyramids-fun and easy.
