Should I be concerned?

Olivia woke up from her nap insisting on watching Nacho Libre. What happened to Barny and The Wiggles?

One reason I love having boys.....

Finding random "tin foil monsters" around the house.

Lukie's green thumb part 2

This is Luke in front of his garden. He thought it would be fun to grow giant pumpkins-well, the plant is starting to take over; I'm going to have my very own pumpkin patch pretty soon (just what I wanted.) He also has some tomotoes, zucchini and a couple other things. I hope he always loves it this much.

I miss my brother.....

I'm missing my brother and his family today. He's a sushi chef/surfer/dad in Kuaii-very cool. He and his wife have three beautiful girls. I miss them so much that it feels like a hole in my heart sometimes. The last time we were there was when I was pregnant with Olivia-it's been way to long. These are some picts from our trip a couple years ago along with one of all the kids at my brother's sushi bar.

I can only draw stick figures

This is a common sight in our house-the kids love to draw and thankfully Steve is an amazing artist. Somehow I missed out on that talent.

My afternoon coffee drink........

Could this be part of the reason I can't shed those last 15 pounds? hmmmmm.....

Christine's pride and joy.

Summer Lovin

We're loving summer; last night we went swimming with family for Paige's 17th B'day. It's always so great to see my family, and an extra bonus-we got to see Jodi and Brant!! To all my family, I love You.......

Livy's Sleeping Place

Just a picture of Livy in her bed-the thing I love is the quilt hanging on the wall that my friend, Kathleen, made for me. It's so adorable and it helped me choose the colors for the girls room. Oh, and I had to throw in recent pictures of the puppies and the hummingbird.

I love my family

Today was my cousin Jaime's shower (she's the one in the black.) So, I got to see a very small precent of my very large family. We had a wonderful time and it was so fun to see Jaime open up all of her gifts. I also got some more cute and easy gift ideas.

Mother's Day Toes

Christine surprised me and did her toes for Mother's Day, too cute.

Miscellaneous Pictures

Lately I have been home a lot just trying to get organized and on top of things before school starts again. (It's actually almost concerning what a home body I am.) So, I haven't had a bunch of events to blog about (can we find another word other than blog?) So, I thought I'd post some miscellaneous pictures that I love. This one of Ty and Drew really gets me. Then there's Christine and Ellie-then Christine and the girls on our way to June Lake. Since I wish I had been blogging all along I'm thinking of so many events and pictures from the past that I want to post; I'm kind of making up for lost time.

The Wright's Visit

Our dear friends, Mark and Tara, visited at the end of June. We had such a great time just visiting. They live in beautiful Washington (way too far away.) Their kids are so precious-it was definitely hard to say goodbye. Here's a picture of all of our kids together-Mary and Jason's, too. I realized after they left that I didn't actually get a picture of them.

We're so blessed

Every year for the 4th of July we go to a park in Stevenson Ranch with family. They have such a great fireworks show. The kids love to watch them with their cousins.

Birthday Dinner

My friend Susan made such a nice birthday dinner for me. Beef fillet, asparagus, creamed corn(really yummy!) spinach salad and rosemary olive oil bread. Then for dessert a "banana bomb" that was delicious. She's too good to me. I love this picture of Charlotte (La La) with one of the puppies.

Simple Pleasures

Jaden found a hummingbird nest in our backyard with a little tiny egg in it. We thought the mom had left but the next day here's what he found.

Mattew 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, they do not toil or reap of store food in barns but your heavenly Father feeds them."

Matthew 10:29b "Not even one of the little birds can die without your Father's knowing it."

Too good to me......

I feel very spoiled-for my birthday my husband bought me the camera I wanted so badly-the Canon Rebel. I'm so excited and can't wait to use it. Here's one of the first pictures I took.

Finally, Puppies

Tana's puppies were born!!!
They're a week old and so precious. 3 little boys, one is named Kona but we haven't named the other ones yet. Christine took the picture of them nursing, I thought it was so precious.
